A request for magical intervention, ritual work, or focused spellwork performed by members of My Cousin’s Coven.
Sometimes insight is not enough. Sometimes you are looking for the work itself.
A working is a request for members of My Cousin’s Coven to perform focused magical or ritual work on your behalf. That may involve protection, attraction, prosperity, uncrossing, opening or closing a path, strengthening an existing effort, or another clearly defined purpose.
Tell us what is happening and what you hope to change. You do not need to know what spell, ritual, correspondence, or magical system should be used. If we accept the request, we determine the approach, timing, and practitioner or practitioners best suited to the work.
Not every request becomes a working, and not every working takes the form first imagined. We consider the circumstances, ethics, timing, practical realities, and the magical nature of the situation before deciding how — or whether — to proceed.
Before You Request a Working
A working is not a purchase from a spell menu. You tell us what is happening, what you would like to change, and anything important we should understand. If we take the request, MCC decides what kind of magical work is appropriate, who should perform it, and when it should be done.
We may accept a request as written, suggest a different approach, ask for more information, recommend divination first, or decide that a working is not appropriate. Some situations simply need time, practical action, clearer information, or a different kind of help.
Magic works through influence, opportunity, pressure, movement, and probability. No particular outcome can be guaranteed, especially where other people, complicated circumstances, or unlikely outcomes are involved. A working should support what you are doing in the world, not replace the ordinary actions a situation requires.
Our workings are offered without charge. Acceptance is based on the request itself—not on payment or donation.
What to Expect
Most requests we accept are handled as a single focused working by one or two practitioners. In some cases, we may ask you to do something simple on your end to help connect and anchor the work to you and your circumstances such as if the work is too dependent on your physical location, home, belongings, or immediate surroundings for us to perform effectively at a distance, we may instead give you the working to perform yourself, along with our guidance on how, where, and when to do it.
For more serious or unusually complex situations or assisting with curses, we may decide that a coven-level ritual working is appropriate. These are less common and require coordination. Because our members are volunteers, there may be a wait while we bring the right people together and align the ritual with the timing, correspondences, and conditions we believe best support the work. We do not undertake coven-level ritual workings intended to create obsessive love or compel another person into fixation.
A Few Boundaries
Requesting a working is available to adults 18 and older. We may decline work that falls outside our ethics, asks us to create obsessive attachment or coercive fixation, or would be better handled through immediate medical, legal, mental-health, emergency, or other professional support.
A magical working can accompany practical action, but it should not replace it. If a situation involves immediate danger or urgent real-world consequences, deal with those first.
Reciprocity, Appreciation & Follow-Up
In many magical traditions, reciprocity matters. That does not mean payment is required, nor do we believe a working becomes more powerful because someone gives us money. Appreciation can be as simple as treating the work with respect, following through on anything we ask you to do, and letting us know what happened afterward.
If you are comfortable doing so, we would genuinely like to hear how the situation develops. Results are not always immediate or dramatic, and sometimes the way a working unfolds teaches us something too. A short follow-up—whether the outcome was what you hoped for, something unexpected happened, or nothing seemed to change—helps our practitioners understand the work they performed.
All MCC workings are offered without charge. There is never an obligation to donate, and donations do not determine whether we accept a request or how much attention it receives. If you would like to show appreciation by helping support My Cousin’s Coven and the resources we provide, voluntary donations are always welcome.
When MCC refers to a working, we mean magical work undertaken toward a particular purpose — what many people would simply call a spell. Depending on the situation, that might be a single spell, a guided working you perform yourself, a series of connected actions, or, in less common cases, a larger coven ritual. You do not need to decide which kind you need – that is part of our assessment.
